Kaki King has a gig at TED as she is recognised by the Rolling Stone Magazine in 2009 as the first woman guitar legend ever. Makes you wonder who made those decisions all these years, seem a little bit behind hind the time don’t you think guys. Well thanks for including Kaki at least. Her music got famous after she dubbed the awesome guitar playing in the movie August Rush, which was about a boy with an amazing guitar style. She is a true virtuoso at her very best and leaves you wondering how she does it. S tapping technique second to none and a left field breaks make her style truly unique and memorizing at the same time.
Well worth a watch even if you haven’t seen Kaki King before and aren’t the acoustic fan as such. Certainly left us wanting to pick up the guitar again, although not to compare skill levels of previous days… hmmm. Anyway sit back, relax and enjoy the ride, she certainly deserved a gig at TED.
